Thank you to all of our wonderful customers the past 9 years. Your support of our soapmaking supply business is greatly appreciated. As we make our final preparations to move to a new home and community we have decided to clear out all of our remaining inventory. We will return in 2009 with all new stock, more wonderful and unique soap molds, even better selection of colorants, butters, oils, fragrances, etc. In the meantime, please be sure to join our newsletter so you can be the first to know when our new store is open.
Thank you, Barbara
So you have found the perfect mold and need to determine how much soap it will hold.
To determine the amount of soap base oils a particular mold will hold, multiply
the length by the width by the depth of the mold, then multiply the result
by .38. This will give you the approximate amount of soap base oils, in ounces,
that it will take to fill the mold.
Example: If the mold is 10" long by 3" wide and 3" tall
10 x 3 x 3 = 90
90 x .38 = 34.20
34.20 ounces of soap base oils will fill the mold to full capacity.
Or you can simply use the calculator below. Just enter the dimensions of the mold and click 'Update'. The result will be how much soap base oils will fit into your particular mold.
The amounts given are based on average recipes and are estimates only.
